Piaget is dead, Vygotsky is still alive, or? is an honorary book for a professor couple, Airi and Jarkko Hautamäki, who have been working extensively in the areas of educational psychology, social psychology, and special education since early 1970’s.

This volume represents some of their broad academic interest areas - cultural aspects of psychological development, learning and counseling psychology, research on child and parent interaction and attachment - through chapters written by their fellow researchers from Finland, Cyprus, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
